This amazing trail starts from famous and beautiful village of jagatsukh, in vicinity of world renowned tourist town of Manali. It leads you along gushing waters of fast flowing river, through thick forests, verdant meadows, high altitude Alpine plateau, tiny but beautiful lake called Chandratalai surrounded by ever existing glacier and finally a breathtaking view of an impressive, towering Deo Tibba peak at 6001 meters. Besides all this, experience camping inside naturally formed rock cave with a great view of a huge waterfall.

Day 1: Arrival in Manali

Transfer to Hotel. Spend few hours walking around the town to acclimatize yourself to the surroundings. Visit famous Hadimba temple and walk to interesting Old Manali. O/n Hotel.

Day 2. Manali (1950 mts) – Jagatsukh (1950 mts) – Khanul (2,020 mts) – Chikka (2960 mts), 10 km Drive and a 6 km Trek, 6 hours

A ten km long drive through village of Jagatsukh, Visit 1000 years old temple dedicated to Gayatri Devi at Jagatusukh before you reach a point just below Khanul to start trekking. The trail winds upwards alongside Duhangan Nullah, walk through Khanul’s green forests with an amazing variety of vegetation all around. The six kilometer long trail is almost a gradual incline. Huge rock wall and a solitary wooden temple at Chikka is a lovely sight. O/n Camp at Chhika by riverside.

Day 3. Chhika - Seri (3,390 metres), 8 kms, 5 hours

Today the trail continues uphill for 5 km and the sudden appearance of Deo Tibba at a far distance is breathtakingly beautiful. Seri was once a glaciated lake, but is now a meadow carpeted with an astounding variety of herbs and alpine flowers. Camp overnight in this fairyland beneath a clear blue sky twinkling with a million of stars.

Day 4. Seri – Tainta Alpine plateau (4000 mts) - Chandratalai (4570 mts) – Seri, 19 km, approx. 8 hours

Start early today, cross the river, followed by a steep climb to reach Tainta. A wonderful level walk through this alpine plateau with countless flowers growing everywhere ultimately leads you to the tiny lake of Chandratalai which provides some excellent views of Deo Tibba and others peaks of Manali and Spiti. This place serves as the Base Camp for the climbers to Deo Tibba paek (6001 mts), Walk back to Seri, O/n Camp inside the Rock cave.

Day 5. Seri – Chikka. 8 Kms, 3 hours

Relaxed morning followed by easy downhill walk to reach Chikka by early evening. O/n Camp.

Day 6. Chikka – Bhanara (2100 mts) – Arjun Gufaa – Manali. 18 kms, 7 hours

Descend through Khanul and divert to Bhanara village just above Jagatsukh, an ancient temple at Bhanara is worth paying a visit, while Arjun Gufa is the cave, it is believed that Arjuna from epic of Mahabharat went into penance at this place. Excellent views of the entire valley can be obtained from here. Drive to Manali. O/n Hotel at Manali.

Day 07

Relaxed morning followed by check out. Explore local market and Board the Volvo bus in the evening for Delhi OR Taxi for onward/ return journey.
